Theresa leads The Dowd Companies Investment Sales group as a partner in the firm. With more than 20 years in real estate capital markets, she has built a nationwide client base of private and institutional owners on a client-first approach and a track record across every asset class: anchored centers, power centers, malls, NNN assets, CBD office, multi-asset portfolios, and large land parcels, including distressed dispositions for special servicers.

She was previously Senior Vice President of Retail Investment Sales in Avison Young's Capital Markets Group in Atlanta, and before that spent seven years as Senior Vice President of Bull Realty's Retail Capital Markets Group. She is an active investor in her own partnerships and developments. Theresa is a CCIM and a graduate of Georgia State University.

Peyton Dowd is a Partner at The Dowd Companies, focused on retail investment sales and capital markets nationally. He advises owners, developers, and investors on the acquisition and disposition of retail assets across the country, bringing nearly a decade of commercial real estate experience spanning tenant representation, agency leasing, and complex transaction strategy. His background in financial analysis, lease structure, and deal execution translates directly into how he underwrites, positions, and executes retail investment sales.

Known for his responsiveness and his ability to simplify complex real estate challenges, Peyton has built lasting relationships with high-growth companies, ownership groups, and institutional clients navigating key moments of change. Previously, he served as a Managing Director in the Savills Miami office, advising office occupiers across South Florida, and before that as Vice President of Office Advisory at Avison Young in Miami-Dade, where he represented both landlords and tenants.

Peyton was recognized as a 2024 Next Generation Award honoree by Commercial Real Estate's Florida & Gulf Coast publication and named a Top 10 Emerging Leader at Avison Young. He is active in the International Council of Shopping Centers, the TRENDs Conference Committee at Florida State University, the United Way LINC Executive Council, and the Greater Miami and Coral Gables Chambers of Commerce, and serves as Treasurer of the FSU Alumni Association's Miami chapter.
